Michael Goh to Lead TGL's China Operations

Trans Global Logistics has named Michael Goh regional director of TGL-China. Trans Global・s China operations comprise three regions and 13 offices that serve all the major manufacturing and logistics centers in the country.

Previously, Goh served as Trans Global・s corporate director of service and quality assurance in Hong Kong. He succeeds Danny Leung who has been named corporate finance director.

Goh joined TGL from S-Net, a Singapore-based company that provides air and ocean transportation and other logistics services throughout an intra-Asia service network. At S-Net, Goh was director of air freight. Before that, he was the general manager of the company・s Hong Kong operations. Goh also worked for OIA Global Logistics as Asia Pacific managing director.

Goh will lead a team that includes Trans Global・s China regional general managers Jackie Ho, James Wong, and Gary Lee. Also reporting to Goh are Simon Gu, China finance manager, and Sunny Lee, China IT manager. The China national sales manager also will report to the new China executive.

Tony Yuen has been named to fill Goh・s former role as corporate director of service and quality assurance in Hong Kong. Yuen has a long history in the industry having worked in operations and finance for a number of companies, including Aero/Infolink, Trans Global Logistics and Star Trans.
